Il nostro net Cancer Day speciale!
Ci sono voluti due anni di lavoro ma finalmente ci siamo! Il progetto di medicina narrativa di NET Italy ha dato vita al libro “A dorso di zebra: in viaggio con il NET”, che verrà presentato il 10 novembre, NET Cancer Day 2021 e sarà disponibile, in lingua italiana, nelle librerie e negli e-book store. Il libro racconta il viaggio di 28 malati, partendo dalla diagnosi della malattia e di come, da quel momento, ognuno decide come affrontarla, testimonianze di paure e di speranza. Il libro pone di fronte agli aspetti della relazione tra medico-paziente-malattia, i protagonisti, scelti tra I nostri associati, aprono il loro cuore, si raccontano e offrono la propria esperienza. Non ci sono ricette miracolose ma spunti di riflessione da confrontare con le esperienze personali; proposte di azioni da adattare al proprio contesto e, per i curanti, un angolo speciale dal quale comprendere meglio, osservare e guidare il dialogo con il paziente. Grazie al potere della parola, infatti, i pazienti e le loro famiglie entrano in sinergia con altre persone, accomunate dalla stessa esperienza o desiderose di dar loro conforto e appoggio. A conclusione di un fruttuoso anno di “Webinar in Tour” svolti in giro per l’Italia, il nostro Webinar 10 novembre sarà interamente dedicato alla presentazione del libro, (il link dell’evento sulla locandina). Seguiteci in diretta, in modo da continuare così il viaggio che abbiamo iniziato nel 2021 con i nostri Webinar, che hanno dimostrato quanto il confronto medico-paziente-caregiver possa dare tanto ad ognuna delle parti in causa. La lettura vi avvicinerà ancora di più al mondo dei Net e potrete verificare di persona quante e quali emozioni diverse, ma tutte assolutamente autentiche e non filtrate, trapelino dalle pagine del libro.
Our special Net Cancer Day 2021!
It took almost two years of work but we are finally here! NET Italy's narrative medicine project has given life to the book "On zebra back: traveling with NET", which will be presented on 10 November, the NET Cancer Day 2021. The book will be available, in Italian, in libraries and in e-book stores. It tells about the journey of 28 patients/caregivers, starting from diagnosis, and about how, from that moment, everyone decides to deal with it. It tells about fears and hopes. The book enter into the details of the relationship between doctor-patient and disease. The protagonists, all Net Italy’s members, open their hearts and offer their experience. There are no miraculous recipes but food for thought to be compared with our own personal experiences. Doctors may find a special corner from which to better understand, observe and guide the dialogue with their patients. Thanks to the power of words, in fact, patients and their families enter into synergy with other people, sharing the same experience or willing to give them comfort and support. At the end of a very satisfactory trip across Italy with our "Webinars in Tour", on November 10 our entire Webinar will be dedicated to the presentation of our book, (the link of the event is reported on the programme).
